Hard wood of Oak or Sapele is chosen to ensure a quality weighted product worthy to beautifully show your artwork. The bookend blanks come with a 4mm groove to enable you to slot in your stained glass panels or other similar artistic panels. The photos show 3 examples of how ours look when the glass is added. We are able to offer some flexibility in terms of the slot start and end points. Just send us a message when you place your order if you would like a variation to the standard end point of 10-12mm from the bookend edge or if you would like a wider groove\/slot. The bookend blanks are available In a choice of rounded or square beveled edge finish and as default are finished with wax to show the natural beauty of the wood. If you are planning to finish them yourselves, and would like us to supply them unfinished please let us know. Our standard measurement for the ends are 15cm height x 15cm length x 5cm width. The thickness of the wood is c.18mm.
